Job Description:

Salary: £40,000 - £48,500 DOE

Shifts: 2x rotational shifts, mixture of days and nights, 12-hour shifts, maximum 3-4 weekends per year

Orion is partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Basingstoke to recruit a highly skilled electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.

Experience Requirements:

• Electrical bias with a UK-recognised engineering qualification in electrical engineering
• Experience with sensors, panel boards, motors, relays, etc.
• Right to work long-term in the UK without sponsorship
• Experience in FMCG manufacturing environment
• Multi-skilled experience in manufacturing
• Strong machinery maintenance skills
• Experience with PLCs
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Machinery installation experience

Responsibilities:

• Reactive and planned maintenance alongside the maintenance team
• Electrical and mechanical machinery installation and modifications
• Maintenance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Autonomous and preventative maintenance, with proper documentation
• Effective shift handovers

Qualifications:

• ONC/HNC or equivalent in engineering (preferably electrical)
• 18th Edition wiring regulations
• FMCG experience
