Location: Basingstoke
Hours: 2 weekly rotation
6am - 2.30pm, Monday to Thursday, 6am - 1.30pm Friday
9am - 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday, 9am - 4.30pm Friday
Full-time | 39 hours per week
Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new opportunity with a stable, forward-thinking company? We're looking for a skilled and proactive individual to join our team to ensure the ongoing reliability and performance of our plant, equipment, and facilities.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a key part of our Engineering team, you will:
* Respond to electrical, mechanical, and building-related issues swiftly and effectively
* Perform safety testing and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
* Start up and shut down processing plant and equipment
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with company and industry standards (ISO 9001/14001)
* Use appropriate PPE and follow all health & safety protocols
* Keep your workspace clean, safe, and organised
* Liaise with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations
What We're Looking For:
We're open to applicants with varying levels of experience - we'll provide training where needed. Ideally, you'll have:
* Previous Production Maintenance experience encompassing both Mechanical and Electrical knowledge (Electrical bias required)
* Familiarity with engineering processes, systems, and HSE regulations
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow detailed work instructions
* Skilled in using tools and equipment safely and efficiently
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
* A team player mindset with clear communication skills
* A focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
