Lavazza Professional UK is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our UK team. The role operates on a rotating 12-hour shift, with days and nights, and occasional weekends. You will lead on-shift maintenance, diagnose faults, and ensure production lines run smoothly.
Candidates must have FMCG experience, strong electrical/mechanical fault-finding, and be based in the UK with right to work. The position includes a £3,500 shift allowance and a potential 5% annual bonus.

This role must work a rotating 12-hour shift pattern, days and nights. Monday to Friday (very occasional weekend work may occur but this very occasional) hours of the shifts are 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am

Salary including shift allowance £40,000.00 to £45,000.00 per annum
Plus a £3,500.00 shift allowance
Plus a 5% possible annual bonus
Candidates must possess strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability with a proven track record of being able to diagnose and repair equipment and machinery timely and effectively. Practical problem solving skills are an essential part of this role and part of the interview process will be a practical test. MUST HAVE FMCG EXPERIENCE
Reporting to the Reliability and Facilities Manager,
The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer is expected to demonstrate leadership within the shift team and will take ownership to ensure the effective running of the production lines, carrying out technical problem rectification. The role also acts as the site duty manager when required and is a key decision maker on shift.
Modern Apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications, which may include:
NVQ Diploma (or equivalent) in Mech/Elec Maintenance or other appropriate discipline,
Level 3 Technical Certification (BTEC Level 3 or equivalent) in Operations and Maintenance or other appropriate discipline
Suitable electrical experience or qualifications to carry out detailed fault finding on circuits up to 415v. - ESSENTIAL
Good educational standard with clear ability to understand and adhere to Standard operating procedures within a factory environment
Ability to apply knowledge and skills in a manufacturing environment
High degree of numeracy and literacy
Good level of manual dexterity and demonstrable ability to carry out practical tasks
Please do note this is a shift pattern role and does involve night shifts.
