Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineering Trainer (Full Training Provided)

Location: Newcastle

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Days Based Role + Off the Tools + Hybrid/Work from Home Role + Pension + Full Training + 38 Days Holiday

Do you have experience as a multi skilled maintenance engineer with good mechanical and electrical fault finding skills?

Are you looking for a days based role, off the tools where you will work with the next generation of engineers?

This is your chance to join an industry-leading training provider based in Newcastle, renowned for delivering world-class training to engineers across the North East. With a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility, they create an exceptional learning environment for aspiring engineers to develop their skills.

As a Mechatronics Trainer, you'll deliver courses covering mechanical systems, electrical maintenance, and PLC fault-finding. You'll use your expertise to guide learners through practical training and equip them with the skills to excel in the industry.

The Role:
  1. Teaching apprentices and engineers from manufacturing companies
  2. Delivering modules in mechanical, electrical, and electronic maintenance
  3. Practical and theoretical learning
  4. Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, teaching is done over 4 days
The Person:
  1. Have a multi skilled maintenance engineering background
  2. Ideally have a HNC but NVQ level 3 will be considered
  3. Have had exposure to PLC fault finding
  4. Good all-round mechanical and electrical skills
  5. Want to move into a trainer role
