A leading company offers an excellent opportunity for a Time Served Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. The successful candidate will ensure production lines are supported through effective maintenance and asset care tasks, contributing to safety, quality, and production targets. Candidates should be time served with a relevant engineering qualification, detailed equipment knowledge, and experience in FMCG environments. This role requires strong fault-finding skills and familiarity with continuous improvement practices.

Qualifications

• Time served Engineer with recognised trade qualification in relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience in FMCG desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide line support.
• Carry out reactive maintenance & corrective maintenance as required.
• Support changeovers in areas where engineering expertise is needed.
• Drive continuous improvement through line improvement projects.
• Support site BRC compliance activities.

Job description

Anderson Knight has an Excellent opportunity with our client for a Time Served Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer.

The role is to provide support for the production lines & carry out asset care tasks to a high standard, ensuring that safety, quality, & output targets are achieved(This is a day shift role Monday to Friday)

Duties

• Provide line support

• Carry out reactive maintenance & corrective maintenance as required.

• Support changeovers in areas where engineering expertise is needed.

• Carry out asset care tasks on production equipment as directed.

• Drive continuous improvement through:

• Identify & implement line improvement project.

• Support production improvement projects as required.

• Support site BRC compliance activities

About You

Time served Engineer with recognised trade qualification in relevant engineering discipline.

• Detailed engineering knowledge of all aspects of equipment utilised in services, filling, packing and palletisation.

• Computer literate

• Knowledge of continuous improvement tools

• Understanding of the contribution Engineering can make to the achievement of Manufacturing KPI’s

• Working knowledge of best practice asset care principles

• Strong fault-finding experience

• Experience in performing changeovers. Experience working within time critical production.

• FMCG experience would be desirable
