Contract: Permanent - Full Time
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £33,354.00 per annum. OTE circa £37,000 per annum (including standby payments).

We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Joiner to join our Property Maintenance and Construction Department, working within our maintenance teams.
As a Multi Skilled Joiner, you will be responsible for undertaking all joinery repairs and associated multi-skilled repairs to both domestic and commercial properties, ensuring high-quality standards and excellent customer service.
To succeed in this role, you should have a flexible approach and experience working within domestic and commercial property maintenance in a target-driven environment. At Bernicia, we prioritize customer focus, so you must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people.
You will need to engage with all stakeholders, acting as an ambassador for Bernicia, promoting our work across communities. Delivering a first-class customer service is essential, and your ability to adapt to new ways of working will help us continually improve the customer experience.
Technically, you should have a sound working knowledge of your trade and an understanding of the wider building construction sector, including components, materials, trades, and regulations. A City and Guilds Craft Certificate in Joinery or equivalent is required. An appropriate CSCS card is desirable, and a full driving license is essential. Experience working in a customer-focused environment is also necessary.
