SSE Renewables is seeking a Multi-Skilled Fitter at Killin Workshop, near Killin, Perthshire. The role involves electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault-finding, and support for civil works.
You will perform routine inspections and contribute to project activities, maintaining high standards of equipment performance. Applicants should have a relevant craft qualification (NVQ3/City & Guilds or equivalent), be fluent with maintenance software, and be able to work outdoors in all weather,
Base Location:Killin-Lochay Power Station, Killin Perthshire
Salary:£36,139 - £43,188 depending on skills and experience + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role
SSE Renewables Hydro operate the largest fleet of hydro-electric power assets across eight hydro schemes in Scotland. Our portfolio totals 1,459MW of installed capacity, which includes pumped storage and flexible hydro. Our assets consist of some of the most iconic power station sites constructed, which brought hydro-electric power to the Scottish Glens 80 years ago.
The multi-disciplined team based at Killin Workshop are accountable for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repair of our Hydro Generation Plant, and we have an opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Fitter to join the team.

Due to the nature of this role, you should reside, or be prepared to relocate, within 40 miles of Killin Workshop, Killin, Perthshire and hold a Full UK Driver License.
