  • Document and report on service tasks accurately.

Role: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Field Service
Location: Based in the North East of the UK
Overnight Stays: 2-4 nights per week on average


Salary - £40,000-£45,000 Basic // Average Earnings Per Annum - £50,000-£55,000


I'm delighted to be partnering with a well-established company that boasts over 100 years of operation and technical expertise. They are currently seeking a motivated and capable Multi-Skilled Field Service Engineer for their Northern team.


To support your transition into the role, you will be partnered with an experienced Field Service Engineer for the first 6-12 months. This mentoring period will ensure you gain a thorough understanding of the position and develop the required skills to eventually operate independently.



Key Requirements

Qualifications:




  • NVQ Level 3 (minimum)




  • Ideally apprenticeship trained




  • Experience within Food and FMCG environments (highly desirable)




Skillset:




  • Multi-skilled engineer (ideally 60/40 or 50/50 split with an electrical bias)




  • Essential: Experience working with multihead and semi-automatic weighers




  • Mechanical: Experience with belts, pumps, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics




  • Electrical: Experience with sensors, relays, drives, inverters, and ideally replacing PCBs




  • Product set-up and calibration




  • Accurate documentation and reporting




  • Strong customer service skills & rapport building




  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
