MULTI-SKILLED ENGINEERS | West Sussex | Salary: £40,000-£49,000 dependent on experience | Plus Shift Allowance | Amazing Benefits

We are seeking talented Multi-Skilled Engineers to join our growing team at our sites in Chichester and Selsey, West Sussex. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be part of a team managing and maintaining advanced production technology in the food industry.

Candidate Requirements:

• Manufacturing experience (desirable)
• Good knowledge of Electrical or Mechanical engineering (or both), with willingness to learn further
• Relevant engineering qualifications, minimum Level 3 NVQ or equivalent
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
• Team player with collaborative approach
• Effective communication skills across departments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with numerical ability
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• IT literacy
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System)

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve plant, assets, and services daily
• Use engineering systems and processes effectively
• Ensure compliance with food safety and H&S standards
• Complete PPM tasks and improve maintenance practices
• Diagnose and repair equipment faults promptly
• Identify and eliminate faulty processes proactively
• Maintain product quality and GMP standards
• Lead on shift as the go-to engineer
• Manage budget and stock control, and maintain shift paperwork
• Ensure safety of buildings, plant, and equipment
• Complete shift metrics and escalate issues as needed
