Multi-skilled Engineering Trainer/Assessor

£38,180 to £44,282 p/a + 28.68% pension

We are currently working with an education provider in the Derbyshire area who are looking for a Multi-skilled Engineering Trainer/Assessor to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.
The position would consist of 39 hours of work per week, and would involve teaching and training highly motivated individuals in a globally recognised automotive manufacturing environment. You would provide training, mentoring, coaching and assessment for apprentices in workplace and college settings, ensuring competency in theoretical and practical skills up to Level 3 in current apprenticeship standards. We are seeking candidates with a solid background in manufacturing engineering or mechatronics, combining technical expertise with teaching or training experience.
The starting salary would be between £38,180 and £44,282 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience), and you would also get a teacher's pension (with employer contributions of 28.68%) in addition to a holiday allocation of 42 days (plus 8 days for Bank Holidays).
