About the Role

Our client are on the lookout for a proactive and skilledEngineerto join their dedicated team. In this hands-on role, you’ll ensure the smooth and safe operation of their factory equipment and facilities. You’ll be key in keeping our operations running efficiently by minimising downtime and maintaining high standards in health, safety, and food quality.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Carrying outpreventative and reactive maintenanceon a wide range of process and packaging equipment
  • Maintaining records of maintenance activities using ourPirana system
  • Participating inmachine installations, upgrades, and improvement projects
  • Conductingbuilding and facility maintenance
  • Monitoringequipment performance and reliabilityto spot potential issues early
  • Following a lean approach tospares managementand continuous improvement
  • Ensuring compliance with allhealth, safety, and food safety regulations
What They’re Looking For
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical engineering skills
  • Hands-on experience withindustrial machinery and factory maintenance
  • A solid understanding ofhealth & safety protocols
  • Ability to workindependentlyand within ateamenvironment
  • A proactive mindset with a passion forcontinuous improvement
  • Flexibility to workshiftsand respond to business needs
  • Good communication skills to liaise effectively with the wider team
  • Experience using CMMS systems (e.g. Pirana) is a bonus
  • Willingness tomentor apprenticesor support new starters
