Job summary

CBRE Local UK in Bristol is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer with a plumbing bias to perform complex preventive maintenance and repairs across M&E plant and building systems. You will work under limited supervision, applying trade skills including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and heating/cooling to ensure reliable operations.

The role emphasizes compliance with codes, strong customer service, and collaboration with contractors while maintaining accurate maintenance records and swift response

Qualifications

• Experience in Facilities Management/Maintenance Engineering.
• Experience with reactive and planned maintenance.
• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
• Strong customer focus and commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance of M&E plant in line with statutory requirements and best industry standards.
• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Be an ambassador of the CBRE values and behaviours, ensuring a professional image of CBRE is presented to clients and visitors and excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted.
• Oversee and inspect work performed by outside contractors, including landscaping, snow removal, remodelling, HVAC, plumbers, and cleaning.
• Perform assigned repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance, completing maintenance and repair records as required.
• Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
