Job summary

Russell Taylor Group is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Technician to maintain and improve plant performance in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. You will perform planned preventive maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and implement solutions to minimise downtime, working with production teams to drive reliability and safety.

Experience in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance and knowledge of CMMS systems will be valuable.

Qualifications

• Qualified engineer with experience in high‑volume manufacturing.
• Strong fault‑finding skills and hands‑on maintenance experience.
• Ability to work independently in a pressurised environment.
• Experience with planned preventive maintenance systems is desirable.
• Controls/PLC knowledge would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance to optimise plant performance.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform fault finding.
• Implement effective engineering solutions to minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with production to improve reliability, efficiency and safety.
• Use a CMMS to manage maintenance activities and records.
• Contribute to equipment modifications and installations while ensuring compliance with standards.
