Job description

Multi Skilled Engineer

Up to £45,000 + 25 Days Holiday + Life Assurance + Career progression

Due to an internal promotion, a globally recognised engineering organisation is currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Engineer to work at a state of the art Pharmaceutical building based in Luton. You'll be part of a strong team of Engineers covering 1 site in Luton with requirements to go to a couple of sites in London, with travel for that paid for. It's an excellent contract for someone looking to progress their career with an emphasis on training and development.

Duties are as follows:

  1. Ensure QHSE documentation is maintained and readily available using client CAFM systems e.g. eLogbooks, Hazard Reports, training & competency records, SAP, Prime.
  2. Actively identify/implement innovation across the contract to enhance performance and continue to meet client expectations.
  3. Carry out reactive repairs and PPMs to the site's M&E systems (BMS, Fire, Air Conditioning, Generators, and LV Electrical Distribution and Switch Gear etc).
  4. Carry out reactive repairs as instructed by Contract Support or Contract Management in line with the Service Level Agreements.
  5. Prioritising and delegating reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks to ensure optimum levels of service delivery are being achieved.
  6. Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules.
  7. To observe the company policy on Health & Safety at Work.
  8. To undertake any other duties that may reasonably be requested.
  9. To install and repair plant as required and directed and respond in a prompt and effective manner to all reactive maintenance issues and requests associated with the site.
  10. To respond to call-outs and cover emergencies as required.
