Your new role
We are seeking an experienced Multiskilled Engineer with a Mechanical or HVAC bias to join our team and provide high-level building maintenance support for our clients. As part of a dedicated team of technical support staff, you will ensure that services meet contractual obligations while complying with relevant regulations and legislation. Your role will focus on maintaining and optimising Mechanical and HVAC systems, carrying out both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
What you'll need to succeed
Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (C&G Level 3 or Level 5, NVQ, BTEC). Multi-skilled engineering experience with a strong focus on HVAC systems. Comprehensive knowledge of building services disciplines, including heating, hot water, ventilation, refrigeration, environmental systems, electrical power and distribution, and public health. Strong practical experience with building services, including Fan Motors, Belts and Filters, Fan Coil Units (FCUs), AHUs, and other HVAC equipment. Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems of working. Good understanding of current building statutory compliance and Health & Safety legislation. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels. Ability to work proactively and independently with a strong focus on quality service delivery.
