Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver fabric repairs and projects, managing sub-contractors.
• Conduct Fire Door PPM service and building fabric maintenance.
• Handle minor repairs of tiling, walls, ceilings, and basic plumbing.

Job Overview

• Delivery of fabric repairs and projects, hosting sub-contractors. Includes multi-trade tasks for reactive helpdesk tickets and assisting with project-related tasks and other ADHOC facilities requests.
• Manage conflicting priorities in a complex environment.
• Ownership of workshop and machine shop.
• Deliver service with pride.
• Coordinate with internal customers, clients, and engineers at all levels.

Main Duties

• Fire Door PPM service and repairs.
• Repairs and maintenance to building fabric.
• Minor repairs and maintenance of tiling, walls, and ceilings.
• Remedial minor building works following PPM activities.
• Painting and decorating projects as required.
• Flooring repair and installation.
• Basic plumbing repairs.
• Basic plastering.
• Manage stock of site consumables.
• Relocate or remove furniture.
• Host subcontractors.
• Work flexibility, including out-of-hours and weekends.

What we are looking for

• Qualified to a C&G or NVQ in a fabric trade (e.g., carpentry, painting and decorating).
• Experience as a fabric technician.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Proactive with the ability to identify opportunities.
• Experience with PDA or iPad technology for reporting and job completion.
