Job summary

MLT Group Holdings Ltd in Plymouth is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical Bias) to maintain and repair critical plant and building services within a complex environment.

This hands-on role requires fault-finding, preventative maintenance and a proactive approach to keeping systems running safely and efficiently. Experience with electrical or mechanical systems is essential, and a 3 on / 3 off shift pattern supports work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical and/or mechanical maintenance.
• Ability to fault find on complex plant and building services.
• Experience with pumps, HVAC and rotating equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance of critical plant and equipment.
• Fault finding and repair of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Maintenance of 3-phase motors, pumps, HVAC and building services.
• Electrical installation, testing and repairs.
• Inspection, servicing and continuous improvement of operational systems.
• Respond to breakdowns and participate in an on-call rota.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with statutory requirements.

Shift Pattern: 3 Days On / 3 Days Off (07:00 - 18:00)

Looking for a varied engineering role where no two days are the same?

We're recruiting a Multi-Skilled Engineer to maintain and repair a range of critical mechanical, electrical and building services within a complex operational environment. This is a hands-on role requiring strong fault-finding skills, preventative maintenance and a proactive approach to keeping essential systems running safely and efficiently.

The Role

• Planned and reactive maintenance of critical plant and equipment.
• Fault finding and repair of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Maintenance of 3-phase motors, pumps, HVAC and building services.
• Electrical installation, testing and repairs.
• Inspection, servicing and continuous improvement of operational systems.
• Respond to breakdowns and participate in an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with statutory requirements.

About You

We're interested in experienced engineers from either an Electrical or Mechanical background.

Electrical Engineers should have experience with:

• 3-phase systems and motors
• Electrical control panels and control systems
• Commercial and industrial electrical installations
• Fault finding and diagnostics

Mechanical Engineers should have experience with:

• Pumps, motors and rotating equipment
• Pneumatic systems
• Valves and mechanical seals
• Mechanical maintenance and fault diagnosis
