Job description

Multi Skilled Engineer - Electrical Engineer Bias

Join us as a Multi Skilled Engineer - Electrical Bias at Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services. We are seeking an experienced engineer to work in the South West area, providing electrical and mechanical maintenance services for various clients. Your role will involve reactive and proactive maintenance, modifications, installations, and ensuring operational equipment reliability and safety.

You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation plant, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies. Accurate documentation and reporting are essential parts of your duties. The role requires high standards of work and safety awareness, with responsibilities including identifying system deficiencies and liaising with contractors and suppliers.

The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance (multi-discipline), possess knowledge of building statutory compliance, and be capable of reading technical drawings, problem-solving, and effective communication. Training will be provided if needed to meet competency requirements.
