Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to deliver electrical and basic mechanical maintenance across site infrastructure and building services at our Portsmouth site. This role supports critical infrastructure with a focus on safety and reliability.

The successful candidate will perform electrical fault finding and preventative maintenance, assist with HVAC and mechanical plant, and maintain thorough maintenance records in a compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with NVQ 3/City & Guilds or equivalent.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience.
• Experience in facilities management, building services or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding and repair on plant, equipment and building services systems.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks and respond to reactive maintenance requests to minimise disruption to site operations.
• Support maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment including pumps, motors, fans, belts and bearings.
• Assist with HVAC systems, motors, drives and mechanical plant, diagnosing faults and implementing effective repairs.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations, maintaining accurate maintenance records and supporting minor installations and upgrades.

• Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding and repair on plant, equipment and building services systems
