Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in West Sussex is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to join our on-site maintenance team. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, manage CAFM systems, and produce technical reports for a commercial portfolio.

The role requires a minimum 5 years' experience in a commercial environment, an Electrical Engineering apprenticeship or NVQ, and 18th Edition. You must communicate well and work under pressure to meet client deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a commercial environment.
• Electrical Engineering apprenticeship / NVQ or C&G (Essential).
• 18th Edition IEE: Wiring and Installation (Ability to attain 18th Edition if you have 17th).
• Knowledge of aircon, ventilation extraction, plumbing and general fabric.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff.
• Proactive in achieving the highest standard of operation.
• Have good IT and report writing skills.
• Ability to work under pressure whilst delivering services to the client.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance in line with PPM and schedules.
• Use and maintain CAFM system; produce technical and situational reports.
• Manage on-site works and subcontractors; liaise with management and clients.
• Escalate major site issues promptly; ensure safety and compliance.
• Support quotations by providing accurate information on works identified.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to project delivery.
