Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland seeks a skilled maintenance technician to deliver planned and reactive M&E and building fabric upkeep across North London and Slough. The role requires driving, safety-minded practices, and the ability to manage contractor activities on-site.

You will support the site supervisor, ensure compliance, and respond to client callouts as per rota, while striving to meet SLAs and KPI targets within a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• NVQ or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services.
• CSCS Skills card or equivalent qualification.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Understanding and developing safety documentation to ensure site safety procedures are followed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric systems.
• Ensure all delegated reactive works orders and PPMs are completed within contract-defined time SLAs & KPIs.
• Provide a significant contribution to overall efficiency, effectiveness and contract profitability and participate in the delivery of service.
• Complete service sheets and update site compliance logbooks accordingly.
• Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and workmanship to meet standards.
• Support the site supervisor with an integrated approach for delivery of all contracted services ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
• Provide a callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.

About the Role

Days of Working: Monday to Friday 0800-1630

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all delegated reactive works orders and PPMs are completed within the contract-defined time SLAs & KPIs
• Provide a significant contribution to overall efficiency, effectiveness and contract profitability and must, therefore, play its part in the overall delivery of service
• Complete service sheets and update site compliance logbooks accordingly
• Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met
• Support the site supervisor with the implementation of an integrated approach for the delivery of all contracted services ensuring that all works are delivered, safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards
• Provide a callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota

Criteria

• Applicant must have the right to work in the UK
• Must have a current, valid driving licence
• NVQ, or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services along with proven maintenance experience
• Sound knowledge of understanding and developing safety documentation to ensure site safety procedures are always followed
• CSCS Skills card or equivalent qualification
• Understanding of First Aid, IT Literate - Basic understanding of Excel & Microsoft products
