The Role

We are looking for a hands-on, electrically biased Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our small, dedicated team at our Liverpool site. This varied role will involve preventative maintenance, first-level reactive service and repair of all equipment, diagnosing faults, updating documentation, and maintaining the Preventative Maintenance portal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver periodic and condition-based preventative maintenance schedules for all electro-mechanical equipment.

  • Conduct first-level reactive service and repair work efficiently and effectively.

  • Collaborate with Operations Teams to provide engineering expertise for continuous improvement of electro-mechanical equipment, including liaising with 3rd party support where required.

  • Perform risk assessments for all electro-mechanical equipment alongside the Engineering Manager and Health & Safety Consultant.

  • Maintain procedure and maintenance records using the CMMS system.

  • Catalogue and audit technical spares and consumables periodically.

  • Liaise with on-site contractors to coordinate work.

  • Maintain and develop professional competence through ongoing training both on and off-site.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

  • Understanding of PLC programming logic

  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematic drawings

  • Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office applications

  • Competent to work at heights and in confined spaces

  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities

  • Familiarity with Motion Control, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic systems

  • Experience with Milling Equipment is desirable
