Location: Liverpool L20 8DF

Salary: GBP19.75 per hour

Monthly Standby Fee: GBP377 (rota: 1 in 3 weeks, payable once familiar with the site and equipment)

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Working Hours: Mon-Fri (7.30am - 4.30pm, 3.30pm finish on Friday)

About The Role

We seek a hands-on, electrically biased Multi Skilled Engineer to join our Liverpool team. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, diagnosing issues, updating documentation, and managing the Preventative Maintenance portal.

Responsibilities

• Deliver scheduled preventative maintenance for electro-mechanical equipment
• Perform reactive service and repairs, diagnosing issues efficiently
• Collaborate with Operations to improve equipment and processes
• Conduct risk assessments with relevant managers
• Maintain records using CMMS systems
• Catalog and audit technical spares and consumables
• Liaise with contractors on-site
• Undertake ongoing training and professional development

Qualifications and Skills

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• Understanding of PLC programming logic
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Motion Control, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic systems
• Experience with Milling Equipment (desirable)
