Job summary

CBRE is seeking an Electrical Multi-Skilled Engineer to support a large industrial site in Nottinghamshire by providing electrical and mechanical maintenance across plant, machinery, and building services to ensure safe, reliable operations. Based in Wellingborough, you will work on fault finding, preventative maintenance and ensure compliance.

The role requires time-served apprenticeship, strong FM experience, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering and 18th edition, with hands-on skills in

Qualifications

• Time-served or recognised engineering apprenticeship.
• Strong building maintenance or FM experience.
• NVQ Level 3 (Electrical Engineering) and 18th edition.
• Ability to write Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Permits to Work.

Responsibilities

• Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs
• Preventative and reactive maintenance, improving equipment performance and reliability
• Working on motors, drives, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Supporting health & safety through risk assessments, permits, and compliance documentation
• Using CAFM systems and mobile devices to manage maintenance tasks
• Liaising with site services, clients, and supervising contractors
• Supporting the team as a responsible person and deputising for the Shift Leader when required
• Working overtime, including weekends, as business needs require
