Role And Responsibilities

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (electrical bias), you'll play a crucial role in keeping production equipment running efficiently. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll handle both planned and reactive maintenance tasks across the facility.

  • Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance on machinery and site systems
  • Completing planned maintenance schedules using CMMS
  • Responding to breakdowns and fault-finding during shifts
  • Installing and commissioning new equipment
  • Supporting automation projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensuring all work complies with H&S, audit, and quality standards
  • Documenting all maintenance work and updating logs
  • Assisting with mechanical work as required across departments

Required Skills And Experience

  • Electrical bias with a strong multi-skilled background
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
  • C&G Level 3 (or equivalent) in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or FMCG environment
  • Confident in fault finding on PLCs, motors, drives, pumps
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, ovens, or blow moulders is a plus
  • Solid understanding of health and safety standards
  • Apprentice trained preferred, but not essential
  • Strong team player with a proactive, solutions-first approach
