Multi Skilled Engineer
Salary: £45,066 pa
Location: Wednesbury
Hours: 42 hours per week (average)
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off rota working the following shift patterns
Days: 06:00 - 18:00 or Nights 18:00 - 06:00
We are looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to join our busy engineering team at one of Yodel's sort centres based in Wednesbury. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of conveyor belts and sortation controls to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our distribution centre.
What you'll be doing
Here at Yodel, we handle thousands of parcels every day and that wouldn't be possible if we didn't have our team of amazing Engineers making sure everything was always working as it should.
You'll be key in providing essential engineering services in order to maintain and support the Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) and associated machinery/equipment on site, to maximise operational efficiency and ensure continuous availability for production.
What you need to show us
You'll have an engineering maintenance background and have a minimum HNC and/or City and Guilds or equivalent within Engineering discipline to level 3. You will be a team player, have a good understanding of Health and Safety Regulations and an analytical approach to problem solving. You will also need to possess the following skills and experience:
