Qualifications

• Experience in a multi-skilled role within FMCG or food manufacturing is required.
• Must be strong in both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Hands-on knowledge of sensors, VFDs, and PLC controlled systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform PPM and reactive maintenance on various equipment.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns swiftly in a fast-paced environment.
• Support installations and upgrades as the company scales.
• Establish and evolve a preventative maintenance programme.
• Collaborate with Production, QA, and Ops teams.
• Contribute to audits and new equipment rollouts.

MULTI-SKILLED ENGINEER
Nottingham | £40,000–£50,000 DOE | Mon–Fri | Food Manufacturing

Ready to sink your teeth into something new? I'm recruiting for a fast-growing food manufacturer looking for a Multi-skilled Engineer to help build, maintain, and future proof their production playground.

This is more than nuts, bolts and belts. It’s about building something from the ground up. You’ll get stuck into shaping the workshop, spec and source parts, and helping scale a business with huge ambition and even bigger machinery.

• PPM and reactive maintenance on conveyors, chillers, mixers and packers

  
  

• Fix breakdowns fast and keep things flowing in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

  
  

• Support installations, upgrades and automation projects as they scale up

  
  

• Help establish and evolve a preventative maintenance programme

  
  

• Collaborate across Production, QA and Ops teams

  
  

• Continuous improvement, safety and reliability

  
  

• Contribute to audits, process trials and shiny new equipment rollouts

  
  

  Qualifications & Skills:

  • FMCG or food manufacturing experience in a multi-skilled role

    Salary & Benefits

    • £40,000–£50,000 salary depending on experience

      
      

    • Monday–Friday (10am–7pm) with occasional paid overtime
