Job description

Multi Trade Engineer - Swindon

Salary - £28,000 - £30,000 Per Annum

Your Role:

  1. Carry out multi-trade tasks, including plastering, tiling etc.
  2. Report accidents, near-miss events, and potential hazards.
  3. Handle any additional maintenance tasks within your remit.
  4. Be flexible in working with a wide range of customers, adapting to their needs and schedules.
  5. Building shelves for airing cupboards.
  6. Boxing in pipes.
  7. Painting pipes and boxing.
  8. Fit talon trunking over pipes.
  9. General patching / plastering.
  10. General brick up of fireplaces.

What We Need from You:
  1. Time-served or completed a recognised apprenticeship with an NVQ Level 2/3.
  2. Competent in all aspects of joinery and/or plumbing.
  3. Experience working within a social housing environment (desirable).
  4. Asbestos awareness and own tools.
  5. A full UK driving license.
  6. Flexibility and a positive attitude towards varied work and schedules.
  7. Excellent customer service skills with experience working with the public.
  8. Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices and working to best standards.
  9. Ability to manage your time and workload independently.
