Multi Skilled Engineer - Blow Moulding Department

Location: Severnside

Contract: Permanent

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (days and nights between 7-7, 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off)

Due to an internal move, we are seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer for our Blow Moulding site at Severnside. The role involves providing high-quality scheduled and reactive maintenance, quickly restoring equipment, and seeking cost-effective improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings.
• Fault finding and remediation using basic automation skills; strong electrical and mechanical diagnosis and repair skills.
• Complete maintenance tasks diligently, including preventive, condition-based, continuous improvement, and corrective maintenance. Contribute to FMEA activities.
• Identify and implement improvements.

Candidate Requirements:

• Completion of a recognized apprenticeship.
• HNC in Electrical preferred; Mechanical with electrical competence also acceptable.
• Automation experience with CI tools and techniques is advantageous.
• Experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Industry experience preferred.
• Onc/HNC qualification.
• IOSH/Nebosh certification is desirable.
