Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Peterborough is seeking a Multi-skilled Engineer to ensure day-to-day maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems, supervise subcontractors, and keep CBRE and contractor paperwork up to date.

You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, ensure spares availability, maintain maintenance records, and promote safe working practices while delivering professional service to clients.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining pumps, motors and valves.
• Experience with cooling towers.
• Good English and Maths skills.

Responsibilities

• Organise reactive repairs and PPMs to the site’s M&E systems (BMS, Fire, Air Conditioning, Generators and LV Electrical Distribution).
• Carry out reactive repairs as instructed by Contract Support or Contract Management in line with SLAs.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive works to other site plant as required.
• Ensure suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the above plant.
• Maintain comprehensive maintenance records and produce method statements and risk assessments for tasks.

This will include the supervision of specialist sub-contractors and ensuring all CBRE and sub-contractor paper work is up to date.
