Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is recruiting a Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer to join the team. The role focuses on plumbing maintenance of plant, equipment and building services on site.

The successful candidate will perform reactive repairs on water appliances, assist on other site jobs, and maintain professional image and customer service standards while ensuring safety and compliance in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Recognised or Time Served Apprenticeship
• College or equivalent plumbing qualifications
• 3-5 Years' Experience in a similar Role
• Level 2 Plumbing (C&G or equivalent)
• Strong proven experience in facilities maintenance
• Good multi skilled ability
• Ability to fault find
• Ability to supervise contractors
• Able to write Risk and Method Statements
• Able to understand and write Permits

Responsibilities

• Complete reactive repairs on water appliances on site and associated plant
• Assist on other jobs within skill set around site as needed
• Ensure professional image of CBRE is presented to clients and visitors and deliver customer service
• Maintain professional and technical skills through personal development
• Repair, install, replace, test and troubleshoot water and medical gas systems
• Install new water piping and fixtures per blueprints and codes
• Maintain waste and vent lines with plumbing tools
• Assist other staff or contractors on projects requiring plumbing expertise
• Complete plumbing safety inspections and PPMs on backflow devices
• Provide training to other staff for light plumbing maintenance
• Perform general maintenance and building systems duties as assigned
• Respond to emergency situations and summon assistance as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer to join the team.

The successful candidate will perform Plumbing Maintenance to both Plant, Equipment and Building Services.

Role Summary

• Complete reactive repairs on water appliances on site and associated plant
• Assist on other jobs within skill set around site as needed.
• Ensure a professional image of CBRE is presented to clients and visitors and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and always promoted.
• Ensure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development and life-long-learning.
• Repairs, installs, replaces, tests and troubleshoots the water and medical gas supply and distribution system including valves, fixtures, and outlets.
• Installs new water (medical gas supply system with proper certification), piping, and fixtures in accordance with blueprints, drawings, specifications and applicable codes.
• Maintains waste and vent lines in good operating condition using a plumber's snake, vacuum plunger and/or jet washer.
• Assists other department staff members or contractors on projects or equipment installations where plumbing expertise is required.
• Completes plumbing safety inspections and PPM's on backflow devices as assigned (with proper certifications).
• Acts as a resource to and provides training to other staff members so they can perform light plumbing maintenance and repair in a safe manner.
• Performs general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned or directed.
• Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience Required
