Job description

The role is expected to positively contribute to team performance and have a strong customer care focus. Working as part of the engineering team, the successful candidate will support overseeing the activities of specialist sub-contractors and actively participate in the site's shift and call-out rota.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the efficient and timely completion of PPM and reactive tasks across the campus.
  2. Carry out fault finding and repairs on a range of M&E and HVAC systems, providing effective solutions.
  3. Prioritize scheduling of PPM and reactive work tasks in line with SLAs while ensuring high-quality service.
  4. Ensure that service levels are met or exceeded.
  5. Develop a detailed knowledge and understanding of the site’s engineering systems.
  6. Become familiar with specialist campus control systems such as Siemens, Delmatic, and Ventilux, and seek learning and development opportunities.
  7. Proactively report issues and update records to support site compliance.
  8. Support the delivery of small works and upgrade projects.
  9. Utilize the site’s technologies and systems when carrying out duties.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
  1. Experience working in M&E building maintenance in high-profile corporate environments.
  2. Experience working in critical environments is desirable.
  3. Ability to fault find and diagnose on M&E and HVAC systems.
  4. Excellent teamwork, ownership, and customer service skills.
  5. A “can-do attitude” and positive contribution to team performance through excellent communication skills.
  6. Proficiency in using IT systems and software.
