Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company (CMBC) is one of the leading, historic brewers in the UK. Formed out of a joint venture between Carlsberg UK and Marston’s PLC, we combine over 300 years of shared values, history, and heritage in UK brewing.

We are now recruiting for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join us, reporting to the Engineering Manager. You will work as part of the engineering teams to reduce production downtime & improve processes at our busy brewery!

Key Accountabilities:

1. Maintain outputs (H&S, Quality, and Performance) to plan.
2. Respond to breakdowns as identified by Engineering or Production Operatives.
3. Show a proactive approach and find solutions to problems.
4. Self-prioritise work schedule when necessary.
5. Identify and order spares to facilitate plant efficiency.
6. Communicate with Production and Engineers via log books and other methods.
7. Liaise with all other departments to understand site problems.
8. Observe all safety procedures and follow good engineering practices.
9. Take ownership of engineering tasks and responsibilities.
10. Manage and monitor PPM adherence.
11. Work shifts that will also include weekend work.

Experience and Key Attributes required:

1. Qualified in an Electro Mechanical engineering discipline.
2. A Maintenance engineer with a recognised apprenticeship or have over five years’ experience in industry.
3. Fully aware of H&S legislation.
4. Flexible, reliable and confident in making decisions.
5. Confident communicating with other departments.
6. Able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
7. Able to demonstrate bench fitting skills and ideally machining and/or welding.
8. Comfortable with working on electrical circuits and PLC controlled processes.
9. Experienced within the manufacturing industry or ideally food and beverage production industry.
