Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated Multi Skilled Engineer at our Westerleigh site.

Working Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern

You will be:

  • an excellent fault finder with strong mechanical skills and a good working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLCs.
  • expected to accurately record all maintenance work using our computerised maintenance system, so strong computer skills are a must.

The Engineering department is crucial to the efficient running of the site and therefore applicants will be required to demonstrate:

  • excellent communication skills when liaising with internal departments and external contractors;
  • a flexible and proactive approach to ensure the overall needs of the business are met.
  • Ideally, applicants will have direct experience of working with food processing and packaging equipment; however, familiarisation training on this specialist equipment can be provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications:

  • a recognised qualification in mechanical and electrical engineering;
