Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location: Lincolnshire
Shift Pattern: 3's and 2's
Salary: £50,000-£55,000 with some overtime and benefits package.
Are you a hands-on, electrically biased Multi-Skilled Engineer looking to work in a fast-moving manufacturing environment where your skills make a real difference?
This is an opportunity to join a well-established food production site, where you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving the performance of a wide range of automated equipment. Working as part of a dedicated engineering team, you'll help ensure maximum uptime, product quality, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Rapid response to equipment breakdowns and proactive fault resolution
Carrying out planned maintenance and ensuring production machinery operates safely and reliably
Fault-finding and diagnosing issues on PLC-controlled systems and other complex equipment
Working closely with production staff to support smooth operations
Identifying and delivering continuous improvement opportunities across the site
Contributing to project work and ongoing engineering development
What We're Looking For
Electrically biased with strong mechanical engineering capabilities
Relevant experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or a similar high-speed production environment
Formal qualifications in both electrical and mechanical engineering
Knowledge of boiler operations and commitment to safe working practices
Skilled in diagnosing electrical and control system faults, including PLCs
A team player who works well under pressure with a proactive, problem-solving attitude
Willing to support overtime and take ownership of personal development
Commutable from:
Boston, Spalding, Sleaford, Holbeach, Kirton, Swineshead, Donington, Horncastle, and surrounding areas.
