Job summary

Bury Council is seeking a Multi Skilled Electrician for housing repairs across council properties. This hands-on role covers responsive repairs, planned works, voids and refurbishment, with a focus on safety and customer care.

You’ll work 37 hours per week across borough locations and participate in the out-of-hours rota. Applicants should have NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, AM2, 18th Edition wiring regs, and City & Guilds 2391, with a time-served apprenticeship and strong

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
AM2 and BS 7671 IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition)
City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
Time-served electrical installation apprenticeship and substantial industry experience
Experience in building industry and carrying out multi-skilled tasks

Responsibilities

Complete high-quality electrical repairs, maintenance and refurbishment across council homes and other properties.
Support responsive repairs, planned works, voids/empty homes reinstatement, disrepair and capital investments.
Undertake multi-skilled tasks and diagnose faults, sharing updates with planners for right-first-time service.
