Bury Council is advertising a Multi Skilled Electrician in Housing Repairs. This hands-on role involves electrical repairs, maintenance and refurbishment across council homes and other properties, with a focus on safety and quality.
You’ll work with a skilled team and participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota. Essential qualifications include NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, AM2, and wiring regulations knowledge.

Join our trusted Direct Works team and make a visible difference to residents every day. Working alongside skilled colleagues who put quality and safety first, you’ll deliver a varied mix of responsive repairs, planned works, voids and refurbishment across council properties. This is a hands‑on role where no two days are the samecombining strong technical standards with first-class customer care.
Hours: 37 per week
Grade:10
Location: Various locations across the borough
Service requirement: Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota
Team: Housing Repairs Direct Works
Reports to: Electrical Supervisor
