Multi-Skilled Day Engineer – Feed Manufacturing – 4on 4off – Days Only - Portbury

Job details:

• Hours: 42 hours per week – 4 on / 4 off days-only shift pattern (including weekends)

The Job:

• Support reactive and preventative maintenance, ensuring compliance with Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, and Health & Safety standards.
• Diagnose and repair faults on plant equipment including motors, drives, conveyors, and elevators.
• Support boiler maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations (Electricity at Work, LOLER, ISO, COSHH, etc.).
• Safely isolate machinery for maintenance and support internal teams and contractors.
• Maintain records of work using the Asset Management System.
• Issue Permits to Work and Isolation Certificates as needed.
• Follow Risk Assessments and SOPs.
• Assist with site projects and engage with the production team.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through proactive repairs.
