Multi Skilled Construction Tutor (Trainee or Qualified)

Location:

Newmarket - Centre based

Salary:

up to £34,000 (Depending on skills and experience)

Full Time, Permanent

Duties:

1. Teach/assess learners working towards vocational qualifications within Construction, within a classroom-based environment.
2. Support learners working towards Functional Skills English and Maths up to Level 2.
3. Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners' needs.
4. Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging, and develop learners' skills, knowledge, and behaviours.
5. Monitor student attendance and progress through regular assessment and reviews.
6. Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.

Criteria:

1. Must hold a recognised qualification within a Construction trade.
2. Must hold solid, occupational experience within Multi-Skilled Construction (e.g., Plastering, Paint, Brickwork).
3. Must hold GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above / Functional Skills equivalents.
4. Organisational skills are essential, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
5. Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
6. Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
