Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a proactive Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our on-site engineering team at a static site. You will deliver planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, and compliance activities across building services and site infrastructure, with a strong mechanical bias and solid electrical background.

You will manage maintenance records in CAFM systems, coordinate contractors, and support building automation while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance on

Qualifications

• Experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer within a building services or facilities management environment.
• Strong mechanical maintenance experience.
• Good electrical knowledge and fault-finding capability.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and safe systems of work.
• Sound understanding of engineering compliance and statutory maintenance requirements.
• Experience using CAFM systems and digital maintenance platforms.
• Experience raising and managing purchase orders.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities across building services systems.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently to minimise downtime.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and update maintenance records through CAFM systems.
• Raise and manage purchase orders (POs) for materials, services, and contractor works.
• Coordinate and oversee specialist contractors on site.
• Support the management and operation of building automation and control systems.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and proactively resolve issues before they impact site operations.
• Participate in the on-call rota and provide out-of-hours support when required.
• Build positive working relationships with site stakeholders and service providers.
