Job description

Mult-skilled Bodyshop Technician

Location: Skelmersdale

Salary: Up to £50,000 basic salary (plus bonus at basic rate)

Hours: 42.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday only

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle paint spraying, light panel work, MET, strip and fit, filler and small repairs from start to finish
• Use paint prepper and filler to prepare panels for painting
• Ensure assigned jobs are completed within estimated times
• Work within the Kitemark BS10125 and manufacturer's standards

Qualifications

• Experience working in accident repair industry as a panel beater, MET technician, SMART repairer, vehicle paint sprayer, vehicle prepper and filler work
• ATA, NVQ or IMI qualifications – distinct advantage, or a good level of relevant experience
• Training available for those with accident repair bodyshop skills looking for new opportunities
