Job summary

Anchor Group Services is seeking a committed Security Officer to cover multiple sites across Portsmouth, Southampton, and Fareham. You will patrol, monitor and respond to incidents while liaising with staff and visitors to maintain a secure environment.

A valid SIA frontline licence is essential, and you must have a driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Training, career development via Anchor Academy, and a range of benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Full 5-year employment checkable history.
• Valid frontline SIA licence DS or SG.
• Customer service experience and confidence handling conflict.
• Flexible to meet job requirements.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Smart appearance and well-groomed.

Responsibilities

• Protecting the client’s property, people and assets by providing security services at sites in accordance with AI’s and site procedures.
• Preventing losses by reporting irregularities; informing offenders of policy.
• Escalating incidents promptly to Control Room/Shift Manager/Operations Manager/Emergency Services as needed.
• Completing reports with observations and surveillance activities.
• Maintaining the organisation's stability by complying with legal requirements.
• Providing first-line support to customers and visitors with a professional service.
• Understanding customer needs and responding to queries appropriately.
