Job Description

Job Role: Multi-Site Security Officer

Working Hours: Zero hours

Location: Various sites as required, must be willing to travel up to 60 miles for sites in Doncaster, Barton, Derby & Daventry (please note you must at least be able to cover Derby and Doncaster as a minimum).

Reporting to: Operations Manager/Regional Supervisors

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services for an experienced Security Officer to join our established security team as a Multi-Site Officer covering a number of assignments within Derby and surrounding areas. You will be required to provide a high level of customer service to visitors, complete patrols, and remain vigilant at all times.

The successful candidate must have a valid SIA Licence as a minimum. You will need to be flexible and ready to cover different sites as required, demonstrating the initiative to adapt to each site’s individual needs. A valid UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

Duties include:

• Protecting the client’s property, people, and assets by providing security services in accordance with the sites' published Assignment Instructions (AIs) and site-specific procedures.
• Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing offenders of policy and procedures.
• Preventing and escalating incidents in a timely, accurate, and appropriate manner to the Control Room/Shift Manager/Operations Manager/Emergency Services as appropriate for serious incidents.
• Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Maintaining the organisation's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Acting as a first-line support to customers and visitors, providing a professional and friendly service.
• Understanding customer needs, responding accordingly to queries and requests, and taking appropriate action.
• Maintaining professional conduct at all times.

Requirements

• Full 5-year employment or education checkable history.
• Valid frontline SIA licence DS or SG.
• Valid UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle.
• Customer service experience and confidence to handle conflict appropriately.
• Flexibility to meet the job requirements.
• Smart appearance and well-groomed.
• Reliable and punctual.
• High enthusiasm and passion.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
