Job summary

PPM Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager - Renewables to lead installation projects across Cambridge and Ely. Oversee ASHP and Solar PV works, manage site teams and subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.

You will plan programmes, coordinate resources, and maintain compliance with PAS 2030 and industry standards, with a strong focus on domestic/social housing projects. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within renewables, construction or planned works sector.
• Good knowledge of Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) and/or Solar PV installations.
• Experience managing multiple site teams and subcontractors.
• Experience delivering domestic projects, ideally within social housing.
• Knowledge of construction contracts (JCT and/or NEC).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of renewable installation projects across multiple sites.
• Oversee ASHP and Solar PV installations, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Lead, coordinate and manage multiple site teams, operatives and subcontractors.
• Plan and monitor project programmes, workloads and progress to meet deadlines.
• Ensure labour, materials, equipment and resources are available to meet project requirements.
• Carry out site inspections, audits and quality checks to minimise defects.
• Maintain health and safety standards and ensure procedures and site documentation are followed.
• Accurately record site progress, data and supporting evidence.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and internal teams for smooth delivery.
• Ensure all works comply with PAS 2030 and industry standards.
• Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and site compliance.
• Ability to manage project programmes, resources and team performance.
