Job summary

Storal is seeking a Nursery Practitioner to work across multiple nurseries in the Winchester area. You will cover day-to-day needs and support nursery managers, with flexibility in scheduling and travel between sites.

Ideal candidates have an Early Years Level 3 qualification, experience across age groups in EY settings, and a willingness to travel. Driving licence and access to a car are preferred. We value engagement with children and families in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• An Early Years qualification at Level 3.
• Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous.
• Have a full clean UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Be willing to travel within the Winchester area.

Responsibilities

• In this role, you will work closely with Mandy and the Nursery Managers to provide day-to-day cover and support where it is needed most. Flexibility is key, as your schedule may vary week to week.
• You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children. Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily.
• While seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions. Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments.
