Job summary

Karali Group in Kensington, London, is seeking a Management Accountant to own the management accounts for a portfolio of restaurant sites. You’ll work closely with Operations and central teams, producing monthly P&L, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.

This role blends technical accounting with commercial thinking in a fast-moving hospitality business, with hybrid working and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Solid management accounting experience
• Excellent Excel skills with large data sets
• Strong analytical skills to spot trends and opportunities
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts for allocated restaurant portfolio
• Prepare P&L, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
• Post and review month-end journals (accruals, prepayments, depreciation)
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Support production of monthly reporting packs with Senior Management Accountant
• Highlight risks, opportunities and areas for performance improvement
• Develop and improve reporting packs, dashboards and KPIs
• Identify cross-site opportunities to improve financial performance
