Pareto is currently seeking a Multi-site Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the timely completion of all maintenance and reactive tasks related to client assets, serving as the first responder for M&E and fabric issues.
- Conduct regular inspections, including statutory, mandatory, and insurance requirements, to maintain the efficiency and safety of M&E installations such as fire safety, firefighting equipment, and security systems. Coordinate with client staff on specific requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and manage computer-based record systems according to nationally agreed standards, including statutory testing, inspection reports, technical records, files, diaries, drawings, and reports.
- Perform maintenance on M&E services and installations, including electrical systems, heating, hot water systems, fire alarms, security systems, machinery, lifts, and other relevant systems.
- Ensure all works meet quality standards, adhere to budgets, and satisfy client requirements, providing regular updates to the Pareto FM Account Manager and client liaison.
- Support subcontractors in routine and emergency maintenance both during and outside working hours.
- Assist in setting maintenance priorities, planning, and budgeting, and prepare schedules and specifications for delegated maintenance projects. Supervise and audit completed works.
- Provide technical M&E advice and support to the client as needed.
- Coordinate with project professionals and contribute site and maintenance information for project work.
- Work with the client and Pareto FM staff to develop and promote best practices in M&E maintenance and procedures.
- Participate in site and property teams, offering technical input on security, health and safety, risk assessments, utilities, disaster planning, and other initiatives.
- Assist the client in implementing the Asset Management Plan to facilitate effective planning and management across the estate.
- Perform other similar tasks as directed by the client and Pareto FM Account Manager.
- Serve as the primary contact for the client in case of issues.
- Remain flexible to support various workplace tasks to ensure business continuity.
Key Skills:
- Deep understanding of electrical and mechanical principles and systems.
- Previous experience as a Building Services Engineer.
- Ability to work independently with high-quality standards.
- Relevant qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering.
