Job summary

COLEMAN JAMES LTD is recruiting an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to service and repair commercial gas and heating systems across sites in Edinburgh and surrounding areas. The role includes diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance to keep all equipment compliant and safe. A full UK driving licence and relevant qualifications are essential, with training and progression opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing commercial gas and heating systems.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Additional mechanical or plumbing qualifications and experience within large multi-site estates would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial gas and heating systems.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs.
• Planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Working on commercial boilers and associated plant equipment.
• Combustion analysis and relevant safety testing.
• Minor mechanical and plumbing works.
• Supporting equipment upgrades, installations and commissioning.
• Completing required inspections and compliance documentation.
• Ensuring all work meets relevant health, safety and industry regulations.
