The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor for the Liberton/Gracemount area on a fixed-term basis. Salary ranges from £30,188 to £34,452 for 36 hours per week over 52 weeks.

The role involves supervising cleaning teams, allocating tasks and ensuring SLAs are met across multiple sites. The post requires duties to be performed with safety in mind; PVG scheme membership is required and checks will be completed prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising cleaning teams across multiple sites.
• Audits and site inspections experience.
• Willing to undergo PVG checks.

Responsibilities

• Allocate routine/general tasks to cleaning operatives and supervise teams.
• Carry out routine audits and site inspections.
• Report machinery faults and maintain stock control.
• Ensure cleaning per Service Level Agreement and safety standards.
