Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor on a fixed-term contract in the Liberton/Gracemount area. You will lead cleaning teams across multiple sites, assigning daily tasks and ensuring cleaning standards meet the Service Level Agreement.

You will conduct routine audits, monitor stock, and report issues to the Locality Hub Team Leader. A full UK driving licence is desirable, PVG checks apply, and flexible hours support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• PVG scheme checks may be required.
• The role may involve working across multiple sites.
• A full clean driving licence is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and allocate routine/general tasks to cleaning operatives.
• Deliver cleaning to sites and ensure adherence to Service Level Agreement.
• Carry out routine audits, site inspections and report machinery faults.
• Maintain stock control and place orders as required.
